My Practice Hours

Tuesday: 2–9 pm
Wednesday: 11 am–6 pm
Friday: 11 am–6 pm
I currently have places available.
Frequency of sessions
Many clients see me every 2–4 weeks, whilst couples often have appointments every 2–6 weeks. However, other intervals are also possible.
Health insurance providers
Unfortunately, I am unable to bill German health insurance providers, so you will need to pay for my services yourself. The advantage for you is that I am not bound by the treatment methods prescribed by the insurance providers. You will also usually be able to get an appointment quickly.
Cancellation fee
If you cancel an appointment less than 48 hours in advance, a cancellation fee equal to the agreed fee will be payable.
Psychotherapy or coaching?
And what does VAT have to do with it?
Whether it’s psychotherapy or coaching, my work is based on the same therapeutic approach, which I tailor to your individual needs.
In the German healthcare system, psychotherapy requires a diagnosis of a mental health condition – such as depression, burnout, ADHD, autism, anxiety disorder, attachment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder or adjustment disorder.
(An adjustment disorder can occur if you find it difficult to adapt to a new situation – for example, following a break-up, redundancy or another significant life event.)
Psychotherapy for the treatment of mental health conditions is exempt from VAT (in accordance with Section 4 No. 14a of the German VAT Act (UStG)).
If you do not have a mental health condition, we can still work together therapeutically, but this is not officially termed psychotherapy; instead, it is referred to as coaching or psychological counselling. These services are subject to a VAT rate of 19 per cent, which makes them slightly more expensive than psychotherapy.
During the initial consultation, I can provide you with an initial assessment as to whether you might be suffering from a mental health condition. This is often the case with many of the issues I specialise in.
